Mall Junky

I have been trying to deny it, but I have to finally admit to myself that I am a West Edmonton mall-a-holic.

Now the West Edmonton mall is not the big touristy spot it is made out to be, but it is an enormous mall with every store you could possible ever want under one roof, and I find myself making excuses to go there several times a week.

There is an enormous fabricland a few blocks from my house, but I somehow find myself shopping at the much smaller Fabricland at the mall. There is an enormous Petsmart also a few blocks from my house and yet I find myself going to the Petcetra at the mall.

I don't know if it's the mall itself (there is a fabulous t-shirt making place there that I frequent a lot), being around people, being able to walk around somewhere warm for a change, or the fact that there is an enormous Micheals Craft Store a few blocks form the mall (and going to the mall give me an excuse to go to Micheals), but I can't seem to tear myself away from the place.

Oddly enough I bought most of my Christmas present online this year so I didn't even get to use Christmas shopping as an excuse to go there. But I still spent a lot of time there, even though I can't afford to spend any money there.

I had a job interview on Monday though, and I'm supposed to find out today if I am hired or not, so hopefully I will have some income soon and can actually buy stuff when I go to the mall to wonder around. Wish me luck!
